"When Will My Life Begin" is Rapunzel's title song, featured in Disney's 2010 animated feature film, Tangled. The song was composed by Alan Menken with the lyrics by Glenn Slater.

The song was sung by Mandy Moore as Rapunzel, as well as the two reprises. However, the first reprise is not in the movie and is only found on the Tangled soundtrack. The first reprise was eventually used in Tangled: The Musical, as well as two new reprises.

The song is about Rapunzel who's bored staying in the tower because every day she's just doing the same thing and is unable to leave the Tower. The song is played while Rapunzel does her chores, which can be called "a Working Song". The second reprise in the movie focusses on Rapunzel's liberation at being able to escape into the outside world.
